Important Information

  • Students are required to complete seven core courses and three electives (a total of 10 courses or 30 units).  
  • Suggested course load: 2 or 3 classes per term (contact program director for advising and planning your course schedule, to achieve graduation target date).
  • Registration will be through your myStanState portal (myCSUSTAN Student System). 
  • See Degree Requirements for comprehensive exam culminating experience requirement.
  • Note that three core courses are offered every fall and spring, and the capstone course is offered every term. We also offer one finance and management (human resources) elective and one ‘other’ elective (for general MBA students).

*MGT 5900 is offered every term. This is the capstone course and is taken last, generally, with an elective. The only core class that can be taken concurrently, with MGT 5900, is CIS 5620.

** MGT 5310 is offered every Spring beginning Spring 2021.
