Exchange Student Admission Requirements


An Exchange Student is a student nominated for a one-to-one direct exchange by a partner university. These students pay tuition to their home university but attend courses at Stanislaus State for one or two semesters.

Nomination Deadlines:
Fall: April 15
Spring: October 15

Application Deadlines:
Fall: May 1
Spring: November 1

Home Campus Advisors nominate students through this nomination form.

Home Campus Advisors then need to send official transcripts and official English proficiency scores to


  • Minimum GPA of 2.0 

English Proficiency

  • IELTS 6.0 
  • TOEFL PBT 500
  • TOEFL iBT 61 
  • DAAD scores are accepted for students from German schools on a case-by-case basis.
  • Duolingo 95
