Who makes up the student body of the MBA program? Do
professionals attend?
The program is intended for the active manager or technical
supervisor as well as the recent graduate who is interested in
advanced study in the field of business administration.
How many courses would I need to take to get my Master of
Business Administration degree?
The Master of Business Administration is awarded upon
satisfactory completion of 30 core and elective units and the
culminating experience.
How do I apply to the MBA Program at Stanislaus State?
Applicants are required to submit two applications; a university
application and program application. Please review the How to
Apply section for application access and required documentation.
What are foundation courses?
Foundation courses, are a group of six undergraduate courses that
student with a non-business undergraduate degree must complete
prior to admission. All of these are offered at Stanislaus State
and maybe available during winter or summer term.
My degree is not from the US; do I have to take the TOEFL?
Yes, applicants whose undergraduate degree is not instructed in
English must take the TOEFL or IELTS and meet the Universities
minimum requirements. Additionally, transcripts will have to be
evaluated to US standards. Please visit the Office

I am an international applicant, what are the admission
requirements for international students?

I’m working- full time right now. Are courses scheduled so that I
can attend classes in the evenings after work?
Yes. MBA courses are generally from 6:00pm to 8:40pm. Start times
might occasionally divert from these times.
I have a hold on my account, what does this mean?
Holds must be cleared as soon as possible. Not clearing holds may
prevent being able to register for courses. You will need to work
closely with the department placing the hold, to fulfill missing
requirements, and have the hold removed from your account.
What is the minimum grade required to earn credit for degree
course?
A minimum grade of C- is required to earn course credit. Please
note the overall GPA required for the degree is 3.0.
