Conditional admissions are for students who do not have have an English proficiency score (like TOEFL or IELTS) or who have a score that isn’t high enough to gain admission into an undergraduate program. This program is only for students who want to earn a degree from Stan State.
You will take English language classes in the Intensive English program for 21 hours a week that include the four skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Active communication is encouraged through projects with native speakers, and time is devoted to TOEFL preparation. Excursions to places both local and throughout the state help students to have first-hand encounters with American culture.
When you earn a 500 or better on the TOEFL ITP and pass all of your classes with a C or better, you will then begin taking undergraduate classes at Stan State.
Fees and Costs for the Academic Year
There is a one-time non-refundable application fee of $150. Below are the costs for a year of attendance in the ALCP.
